==== Description: ====
fastcgi++ is a C++ implementation of the server side fastcgi protocol. The
projects goal is to provide a framework for web application development under
C++ using the fastcgi protocol. It includes an effective task management
system to allow multiple clients to be efficiently served simultaneously. It
allows the use of multiple character sets including UTF-8 with internal wide
Unicode character support. It builds HTTP session data into usable data
classes moving it even beyond a simple protocol library. It is generally
intended as a replacement to the FastCGI developers kit for C++ programmers as
it allows users to take advantage of many more facilities of the C++
programming language.
fastcgi++ depends on the Standard C++ Library and the boost libraries
(http://www.boost.org/). The code does currently depend on certain linux
kernel system calls.
All fastcgi++ code is written in C/C++ using C++ techniques. No code is in
any way derived from the FastCGI C Developers Kit.
