I find licensing is OK (based on the current version at google code).

Follow-up:

We are ready to approve your project at Savannah as long as you are
willing to stop using Google code for development.

When you are ready to include the code directly into GNU Emacs
project, we will close this project.  Currently it's impossible due to
mplayer dependency, so you really need this separate project.
