==== Description: ====
This is a project to create a small scale search engine for web sites.  The
project, named "Soushun", is meant to be an engine capable of search  English
and other language texts in ASCII or Unicode.  This software will be a server
software, running under CGI, and presenting a web interface to its user.  The
engine will begin as a text search engine but its basic framework will be used
later on to support content-based search of media data (video and audio).  The
ability to be able to function as a cluster using a number of machines will be
an important goal.

This software will use Squirrel as its extension language, and use a SQL
database or an OODB for storage (not decided yet).  Its logic will be written
in C or C++ and high level code driver in Squirrel.

It will run in Unix type OSes, mainly on GNU/Linux.

No code yet at this stage.
