MU-Conference is a component for Jabber servers ( It
provides functionnality for multi-users chat, as describe in XEP-0045 : (it's almost the same as IRC
chatroom, but for Jabber). It supports almost every feature of the XEP
including advanced features like built-in logging. Everything is coded in C,
and it depends on libidn, expat and GLib. The project is licensed under the
Gnu GPL v2.

The project was originaly hosted on jabberstudio :, but there going to close really
shortly. A copy of the source code is available via an external svn
repository : and accessible
with WebSVN :

The project is quite old and is fairly stable.
