----

==== Description: ====
The project is a text-mode sniffer.
It could parse then print protocols from datalink layer (included). You can
specify what you want to print with options.
Options enable you to filter on ips/ports, protocol name (layer under session
layer) or data (layer over session layer included, with string or regular
expressions).
You can easily add a protocol to be parse/print by adding a structure in
network/protocols.h then modify the parse_*_layer function
(network/parsers.c) and the print_*_layer function (prints.c) (the standards
protocols id are already defined in network/protocols.c/h).
The project dont have name for the moment.

You can get the source code on this subversion server :
http://xiato.com/svn/softwares/sniffer/ .

==== Other Software Required: ====
For the moment the sniffer use the specific <linux/if_ether.h> librairy in
order to open a socket with PF_PACKET domain.
