== REGISTRATION DETAILS ==

Full Name:
----------
*A VoIP SIP phone frontend for hardware h*

System Group Name:
-----------------
 *yeaphone*

Type:
-----
 non-GNU software & documentation

License:
--------
GNU General Public License V2 or later

Description:
------------
I would like to host a project called "yeaphone" which is described at
http://www.devbase.at/voip/yeaphone.php and already available as an early
stage version.
The application executes on Linux only and uses a modified liblinphone-API as
its backend to handle incoming and outgoing calls. The frontend is implemented
by "yeaphone" itself to interact with a phone user via a YeaLink USB handset.
Currently this is restricted to the USB P1K model, but users already start to
provide patches for other models supported by the yealink kernel module.

All hardware platforms suitable for Linux/GNU and providing the dependencies
(see next text-box) should be supported, the ARM architecture is emphasized a
bit as an example of a power-saving embedded architecture.

In the far future there should be support for more models by different
vendors, but primarily the lack of hardware (and possibly the missing kernel
support) has lead to a yealink version only, right now.

Other Software Required:
------------------------
 liblinphone (https://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/linphone/)
yealink kernel driver (https://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/usbb2k-api)
