Description:
------------
  SIMDOS stands for SImple Microkernel Distributed Operating System. SIMDOS
is a micro-kernel based OS which used Minix like servers to provide the
various OS functionalities. It is also meant to be distributed in nature and
lightly on the lines of the Amoeba operating system. 

It will be implemented using the Software Distributed Shared Memory(DSM)
concepts. This is intended to give the developer an easy parallel programming
model; unlike the the Message Passing model which demands a seasoned
programmer to implement the prallel programming algorithms efficiently. The
model is also adopted since it would also give allowances for later porting
the OS to ccNUMA like architectures.
