  Python wrapper for libsndfile

Python comes "with batteries" included and a rather inadequate support for
reading sound files. libsndfile is a defacto standard C library on GNU/Linux
systems for reading and writing audio files and is released under the LGPL
(http://www.mega-nerd.com/libsndfile/#Licensing).
This project tries to wrap the libsndfile API on various abstraction levels
to port this functionality to Python.

There are several other projects doing the same (at least three):
dsptools, libsndfile-python, pyAudioPort

IMO this project differs, as it tries to prevent duplicate copying of data,
no hand-written C --> Python wrapper code and a good exercise for me ;).
