PySciTrivia
System Group Name:

pyscitrivia
Type:
-----
non-GNU software & documentation

Description:
------------
PySciTrivia is free software, it is meant to be a simple trivia
game centered around the physical and mathematical sciences.
Such as math, physics, biology, computer science, and so on.
For each category, there is also a corresponding history category.
So for example, there is chemistry, and chemistry history.
Right now it's for 1 to 3 players, just a simple round based
trivia game. The players compete against each other answering
multiple choice questions. Many more questions and features will be added in
the future.
There are several reasons it is being made. I was not able to find
a free trivia game already done, and being interested in the sciences,
I decided to combine the two. Also, learning to program with Python
has been enjoyable for myself.
It's licensed under the GPL, including everything from the code to the
sound effects. It is written in Python using Pygame, and the hope is that
anyone running it would use a free OS such as GNU/Linux, but it should still
run on any platform supporting Python and Pygame.
