######### REGISTRATION DETAILS #########

Full Name:
----------
 texdoc-gui

System Group Name:
-----------------
 texdocgui

Type:
-----
 non-GNU software & documentation

License:
--------
GNU General Public License V2 or later

Description:
------------
the tetex distribution has a documentation utility called texdoc and a
corresponding tk gui called texdoctk.

I have implemented a GTK+ GUI for this using the perl-gtk bindings. To do so,
i had to refactor a lot of the original code resulting in a texdoc.pm perl
module and two pure-gui tools called texdoctk and gtexdoc (for gtk+). Other
GUIS are now also possible (e.g. Qt).

I am in contact with the original author of texdoctk and we are looking for a
project home.

Other Software Required:
------------------------
 perl, gtk+, tk, bindings, tetex
