Description:

  KLinPopup is a small program designed to run under KDE.
With it hte user can receive and send messages between
computers using the Windows(tm) net send or winpopup protocol, respectivly.
The receiving and sending of the messages is done by using samba.
Its build dependencies are kdelibs(-devel) and libsmbclient(-devel).
The runtime dependencies are kdelibs, libsmbclient, smbclient (for sending
messages).

It is very similar to e.g. linpopup, kpopup.

Features:
-can start docked to systemtray only
-adjustable new message signaling (e.g. sound, tray pix, activate window)
-sending one message to a few receivers
