Description:
------------
TuxOS will be an easy to use Hard-disk installable Linux LiveCD based upon
Ubuntu Linux. It will contain a graphical installer programmed in Bash, using
the program Xdialog for graphical prompts. The main goal of TuxOS is to help
Linux newbies get used to Linux, and it should be as user-friendly as
possible, with a GUI to perform all different functions, such as package
management and system updates. Even with all these GUIs, TuxOS will still be
suitable for advanced users, allowing everything to be done via a command
line as well. TuxOS will use the apt package manager, due to the fact that is
based on Ubuntu. I do not have any source code right now, because i have only
just begun researching for the project, but you can take a look at the Ubuntu
LiveCD - http://ubuntu.hands.com/releases/5.04/ubuntu-5.04-live-i386.iso.
