Description:

  Open Console is a project dedicated to spread the word freedom to the
console development communities. Major purpose of the project is:

-supply standard libraries
-startup (crt0.s) files & linker scripts for gcc
-binutils & gcc build scripts
-utilities for image/tile/map editing, data compression, file conversion,
interactive disassembly, cpu simulation...
-documentation

under GNU GPL, LGPL and FDL.

The project is at crawling stage (http://openconsole.net), but it already has
some stable releases (heavily targetting Sega Genesis at this stage). I'm
eager move source trees (to cvs) & file releases under savannah.

  As a note to savannah hackers: i have registered a project called Demi,
however, due to personal life issues + other on going projects (especially
libgen
http://openconsole.net/wiki/tiki-index.php?page=ProjectsSEGAGenesisLibGen),
i'm apologitically saying that i couldn't have spent enough time for Demi to
make stable release, therefore, haven't committed any files. I'd like the
project Demi to be removed, because i'm planning to merge the project source
tree under openconsole.
