Details:

I have now tried to join to qemu-devel mailing list at three or four
different occasions, over a period of a week.  For some reasons the
confirmation e-mails that mailman sends (or at least should send) never reach
me, thereby making it impossible for me to join the ML.

I was directed to report to problem here by Paul Brook, one of the active
participants at the qemu-devel ML.
