Hi,
I'm not sure if you're the right person to send this email.
If it's not the case, please, indicate me to whom send this email.
Well, I'm trying to use cvs to get the Emacs source in my home machine.
I created a savannah account (viniciusjl).
Also create a ssh key (1024 35 1571......739
address@hidden).
Then I tryed:
$ export CVS_RSH=ssh
$ cvs -z3 address@hidden:/cvsroot/emacs co emacs
But I get:
address@hidden's password:
Permission denied, please try again.
address@hidden's password:
Permission denied, please try again.
address@hidden's password:
Permission denied.
cvs [checkout aborted]: end of file from server (consult above messages
if any)
$
I used the password of viniciusjl (savannah account) and also the
passphrase that I used to create the ssh key.
Sorry my ignorance, but what am I doing wrong?
I tryed to get some information from savannah information (user docs
(FAQ)) and from GNU webmasters (Documentation), but I couldn't see
anything that could help me.
Ohh, I also sent an email a week ago to some Emacs project
administrators to give me access permission (like developer) to Emacs
project. I'm not sure if this is necessary. Until now, no one sent me
back an email.
Could you help me?
Thanks,
Vinicius
