Hi there,
I just would like to report that I would like to join one of the projects
on Savannah, but I'm not able to access the CVS repository.
I registered a key, generated on my workstation, using the commands
described in
https://savannah.gnu.org/faq/?group_id=11&question=How_do_I_configure_my_SSH_access.txt
I used at first
echo "Protocol 1" > ~/.ssh/config
followed by
ssh-keygen -t rsa1
I submitted this key already a couple of times at the Savannah
key registration, which says (when I logged in)
Edit The 1 Keys Registered
Your Savannah password is useless for cvs, rynsc, scp and sftp. You
have
to register a SSH Shared key for thoses purposes.
I guess this is all right.
But when I want to log in, using my pass phrase (which used to be the same
as my savannah password, but I changed it because it didn't work), it
keeps saying me
Permission denied, please try again.
address@hidden's password:
I have no cle what the problem might be. Is it because i'm working from a
workstation behind a firewall, and the IP-number of my connection is
different from the IP of the machine I'm working at? Or is there just
simply something wrong with the set of commands I've used?
Thanks in advance.
