[Savannah-hackers] Request for shell account. |

Hello Hackers of Savannah,
I used to use a shell account from sf.net. They seem to limit what one can
do with it, bit by bit. Is it possible for FSF to host a shell acct for
me, and if so, what would I have to do to qualify for one?
I need one currently for testing purposes. I would want to see if I have
configured my sshd correctly. SF has disabled ssh to computers outside
their domain.
I would consume low bandwidth, cpu and disk usage. I would prefer if the
shell server would run GNU/Debian. Hurd would be interresting too :).
You may also be able to help me find an alternative to Slashdot? I would
like to get my news from a free source. OSDN represents an open news
source. Maybe gnu.org should host a free alternative to Slashdot? Has that
been discussed?
Is there a place one can post ideas for new software? I would like to post
a couple of ideas publicly for the purpose of claiming "prior art" if a
company suddenly seeks patents for ideas that are not original.
