Hynek Hanke <address@hidden> described the package as follows:

Other License:
Package: FLOWER
System name: flower
This package does NOT want to apply for inclusion in the GNU project
Project FLOWER sets itself as a goal to create
multimedial environment for learning of foreign languages
(at the moment of English). It uses
languages synthesis Festival or the database of already
made records, various texts and picture materials
for its operation.
The abbreviation FLOWER means \'\'Fast Learning Of Words
With Electronic Robot\'\'. It indicates that the main aim
of this project is training of new words although it will
also have support for learning grammar. It will be also
possible to use it as a personal dictionary and in the
future it will perhaps contain some teaching games.
For the present it has line user interface and interface
for GNOME built on SDL.
