I have almost zero code that wasn't thought up by myself. I
have tried to submit multiple times. There are many
projects that have zero files. I do not understand the hold
up to creating my project. Do I need to keep filling out
this form for the next year or two? The "Please Submit"
should be optional and the project should be created when
requested. Otherwise, what's the point of having Savannah
when I need to go get a commercial server to host my
project like sourceforge.net????
I do not want to use Savannah for ANONYMOUS ftp. I'm sorry
if I mispoke. When I said ftp, I simply meant a location
out on the public internet that can be accessed by multiple
protocols, whatever they happen to be, tftp, rsync, rsh,
rexec, uucp, ftp, http, or anything else. I just want my
project to have exposure.
To restate. I do not care what protocol is used to access
my package. However, I need somewhere public to store my
public project.
Please stop treating me like a total dumbass that has no
clue. I am here so that I do not have to make my projet
proprietary by hosting on sourceforge.net.
If you would prefer, I can go there, but I would really
rather have people benefit from my project than for it to
disappear into obscurity.
P.S. - I never got an update when you replied to this
message. I wonder if there is something broken on
Savannah's remailer????
Thanks.

Hi,
We ask people to submit their current code in order to help
them make sure it's Free Software. Applying Free Software
licenses is sometime tricky.
You say that you only want to use Savannah for anonymous
ftp. Note that Savannah does not offer anonymous ftp, only
http and rsync access.
