Hi,
It turned out that the BIOS of subversions.gnu.org was operating at
9600 and not 38400. I changed the getty + kernel parameters to operate at this
speed and we can now see the bios + grub when subversions.gnu.org is rebooting.
Despite a few attemps trying to get into the bios with the F2
key, I was not able to succeed. I suspect that there is a parameter in
the bios that says the serial line should operate at 38400 instead of
9600 and I wanted to change this. I gave up since it's not really
critical.
I won't be doing more reboots, subversions users probably had enough
troubles already. The really important thing is that we now have access to
grub when rebooting and that will cover most if not all troubleshooting
scenarii we can expect.
I think we can now consider that subversions.gnu.org is
operating properly in the new gnaps setup.
