A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden
Jim Welch <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: x11
Other License:
Package: PLC IEC 61131-3 to C
System name: plc2c
This package does NOT want to apply for inclusion in the GNU project
A GCC front end to compile IEC 61131-3 languages.
IEC 61131-3 is the first real endeavor to standardize programming languages for
industrial automation in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
The standard (was IEC 1131 before renumbering) calls for 5 different languages
and a common set of data typing, variables, and standard functions and function
blocks.
ST - Structured Text - a high level language
IL - Instruction List - an assembly like language
FBD - Function Block Diagram – encapsulation into black boxes
LD - Ladder Diagram – from relay ladder logic
SFC - Sequential Flow Chart –overall control of program flow
It does not exist yet but I\'m working on it.
