Hello,
I recently came across the Savannah page of a project [0] in which my
Savannah user name is used in the commands to download their repositories:
cvs -z3 -d:ext:address@hidden:/sources/gnubg co gnubg
cvs -z3 -d:ext:address@hidden:/sources/gnubg co <modulename>
cvs -z3 -d:ext:address@hidden:/web/gnubg co gnubg
I asked the maintainers of the project, and they suggested it may have
to do with some job Savannah did while I was logged in, picking up my
user name.
Not that this is likely to have any transcendental consequences for me,
but still. Wouldn't it be more appropriate to use a generic name for the
examples, such as 'username' instead of mine?
Happy hacking!
