Hello everyone,
I post videos and audios of speeches on free software on
audio-video.gnu.org.
I used to use sftp for this but at some point I started getting
"Connection closed" errors. I hear this is because sftp was disabled due
to security concerns.
I found out I can upload files with scp, but I could use sftp as a
remote shell and not only push files to server but also rename them,
delete them and so on.
Could you please let me know if there's a way to retain that
functionality without using sftp? Sometimes I can upload the wrong file
and then it sits on the remote machine and I can do nothing about it and
so on. And generally it is much more convenient to log in to remote
machine and do what I need to do.
Thank you.
Regards,
Denis
