    I think copyright don't apply if you took an work and rewrote/redraw
    it mantaing the original idea, but i'm not sure if this would be the
    case for the images, so can please someone confirm they are affected
    (Or not) by copyrigth?.

There's no difference between text and images in this regard.  If the
"revised" images aren't related to the "original" images, then for
copyright purposes they are new images.
