The Savannah Hackers are interested to know if it is appropriate to
approve projects which depend on non-free dynamic websites and their
content like http://www.weatherbug.com/
rms previously approved a GNU package phpgrabcomics, which grabs and
saves comic strips (Dilbert, etc.) from the web. Those comic web sites
seem analogous to the weather site to me.
rms, the weatherbug.com web site provides weather news and information,
e.g., you can give it a zip code and get back a weather forecast. I
believe the script simply parses the HTML that the form on their web
site spits back.
