FWIW - its more than just "backup your credentials" - i would go the
full stretch to explain why it must be so - password resets are the
expected norm because centralized service are the expected norm -
unless the merits of de-centralization are also explained, then the
extra responsibility of protecting your identity will only be perceived
as a hassle and a down-side of using this service
