Details:

BUG:

In Debian GNU/Linux stretch on which
tcl8.5-dev is installed at the host system level, the default
maneage install of the statistical package 'R' on maneage commit 24d01f5 fails
with
6227 repeats of the line:

/usr/lib//tcl8.5/tclConfig.sh: line 2: dpkg-architecture: command not found

PROPOSED SOLUTION:

Since tcl and tk should not be needed for the production
of non-interactive figures for use in publishable papers,
commit 1c1b01f adds '--without-tcltk' to the compile
instruction for 'R':

https://codeberg.org/boud/maneage_dev/compare/maneage...R_without_tcltk

This solution works for me. I'm a complete novice to R, so the chance of
someone having a better solution is quite high. :)
