Follow-up Comment #2, task #15764 (project reproduce):

Thanks for bringing up 'ed' Boud! It is indeed a wonderful and small editor.
We can add at it as an optional program in 'high-level.mk', but probably
keeping Nano as the default editor would be more useful to many early users
(who are already learning a lot of new tools). 

I feel Nano is more new-user friendly (especially that it prints the necessary
commands on the bottom of the screen!). This even helps people who don't use
it too often like myself(!).
