Thanks Boud, can you please elaborate a little more on not seeing any reason
to use LGPL? 

For example, someone (a company), may want to add subMakefiles for their own
special project, but they don't want them to be free software. Someone else
may want to use permissive licenses (like MIT or BSD) for their own
subMakefiles.  

In the current situation that all Maneage infrastructure is GPL (and if I
understand GPL correctly!) none of the two classes of users above will be able
to use Maneage: to build-upon a GPL licensed source, your product also has to
be GPL'd.

This is why GNU C Library and some other core GNU tools are also LGPL!
