Subject: | [rdiff-backup-users] Deleteing Files from repository |
Date: | Mon, 22 Dec 2014 06:43:45 +0000 |
Hi all, I recently deleted a folder from my rdiff-backup repository using $ rm -rf foldername Running rdiff-backup after having done this generates following error. A regular file was indicated by the metadata, but could not be constructed from existing increments because last increment had type None. Instead of the actual file's data, an empty length file will be created. This error is probably caused by data loss in the rdiff-backup destination directory, or a bug in rdiff-backup Warning: Could not restore file Music/music_27.mp3! There are many other similar warnings being displayed, this is just an example. Any suggestions on how I clean this up ? Thanks, Stephen. |
