hi !

i think this definitely needs being fixed since it`s pretty good strategy to write-protect any backup after some time - regardless on which media it`s being stored.

restore as root and see what happens. If it fails again, send us the new

When I run it as root it doesn't fail, but it still remains a problem
for normal users.
