That's it. I can't reproduce the problem with 0.12.7. I'll file a Gentoo bug tomorrow, recommending that 0.13.4 be marked unstable and 0.12.7 be restored.
Is it possible to downgrade and re-use the already existing rdiff metadata files? Bjoern
