[rdiff-backup-users] Assert at line 698 of restore.py

Dear all,


When I try restoring a backup, i get the following assert failure at  
line 698 of restore.py as been describe in a previous email here :

What I did do to stop it is to comment out the assert as describe by  
the next email in the thread. Is there a way to fix this ? Is  
commenting out the assert safe?
