Follow-up Comment #1, sr #106623 (project rdiff-backup): NOT A BUG please close. Looking at my cmd history shows that I mistyped a command which likely caused this problem (see below) and ended up with a zillion level deep directory dasx/dasx/ etc most likely because the backup was stored where the source for the backup is located. history | grep rdiff 484 yum -y install rdiff-backup 581 rdiff-backup /spare dasx:/spare/backups 582 rdiff-backup /spare dasx;:/spare/backups 583 rdiff-backup /spare dasx::/spare/backups I removed the offending dasx directory on the source side and erased the backup on the remote host and ran the backup command again without problems. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.nongnu.org/support/?106623> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.nongnu.org/
