Follow-up Comment #3, bug #15312 (project rdiff-backup):

rdiff-backup has nothing to do with rsync other than being thematically
similar.  You could uninstall rsync and rdiff-backup would still run.

Make sure you have the newest version of rdiff-backup installed (1.0.3).
