Follow-up Comment #1:

Seems the answer is to make the entrytuple_to_text and text_to_entrytuple
functions not require the posix1e extension.  The entrytuple could be stored
in an rdiff-backup specific format, so we wouldn't need the posix1e constants
except when reading or writing an ACL.
