I think I've found the first bug:
        definekey top S-E exec exec emacs
is never triggered, but
        definekey root S-E exec exec emacs
is (after C-t, that is).  It also fails for stuff like 'at' (the @
keysym), which is above the 2 on my keyboard.  I think it's because
the shift mask isn't being applied correctly.

On the subject of shifting, how do you bind (for example)
control-shift-Home, given that 'Home' is the keysym regardless of
whether shift is down or not.  I can't see a shift mask in the source.
