goose-e-o (sorry, don't know your real name :() made a Stampede
slp package of ratpoison!
I uploaded it to ftp://ratpoison.sourceforge.net/pub/ratpoison/,
Shawn, could you please add it to the download/releases page ?
(the package is in /home/groups/ftp/pub/ratpoison/ratpoison.0.1.1.slp,
on shell1)
