As I understand it, AIX will boot on POWER8 systemsim with a rootvg
entry that matches the "mambo bogusdisk". Have any attempts been made
to copy the relevant portions of the devtree from systemsim to
qemu-ppc? Would this resolve all problems with booting aix on qemu?
Are there any alternative avenues for booting AIX on qemu?
