The latest version of Qemu I can use is 4.1.1. I tried 4.2.0 from the vendor (openSUSE TW), compiled it myself, but I can't get a network up and running.

This is the response I get:

qemu-system-x86_64 -snapshot -name telewerken -cpu phenom -smp cores=2,threads=1,sockets=1 -enable-kvm -machine type=q35,accel=kvm -m 3072 -audiodev pa,id=pa -soundhw hda -device virtio-net-pci,mac=52:54:d8:e6:ed:00,netdev=td0 -netdev tap,id=td0,helper=/usr/lib64/qemu/qemu-bridge-helper -vga std -display gtk -rtc base=localtime, clock=host -boot order=c -usb -device usb-tablet -drive file=./telewerken.raw,format=raw,index=0,media=disk,if=virtio,cache=writeback
qemu-system-x86_64: bridge helper failed

And, yes I have set bridge.conf to "allow br0". Not matter what, It will not work with Qemu 4.2.

Any suggestions?

--- Frans.
