I have no idea what nvdimm is, but it seems like in 2.6.0 it is called just "nvdimm", not "pc-nvdimm":

$ qemu-system-x86_64 -device help 2>&1 | grep nvd
name "nvdimm", desc "DIMM memory module"

Hi guys,
I'm interested in nvdimm in qemu, but found it unable to
boot with nvdimm by:
address@hidden:~/src/qemu/qemu-2.6.0$ qemu-system-x86_64
-enable-kvm -cpu kvm64 -m 2G -smp 48 -numa
node,mem=1G,cpus=0-23,nodeid=0 -numa node,mem=1G,cpus=24-47,nodeid=1
-hda ../iso/ubuntu_qemu.img  -device pc-nvdimm,file=nvdimm.img

qemu-system-x86_64: -device pc-nvdimm,file=nvdimm.img: 'pc-nvdimm' is
not a valid device model name

Any idea?
