I have qemu compiled statically and want to have a go and chrooting into a
foreign environment.

I read through the manual page of qemu and there is a
-chroot switch and a
-runas switch that work together

Now normally the chroot command can be invoked with specifing the chroot
directory as well as the specified shell and other envars
( for example
chroot fakeroot /somewhere/bin/env -i /somewhere/bin/bash --login +h )

At first reading of the qemu manpage the -chroot switch appears to take care
of this part "chroot fakeroot " of the above comand

can chroot be invoked with the -chroot switch in qemu with commands for env
and login as shown the example above?

thanks in advance
