I didn't notice that. I left the default options as I am new to Qemu. However in the "Computer Type" settings, I don't see any i386. I see

ARM
Cris
Coldfire
Microblaze
MIPS
MIPS64
MIPS64 EL
MIPS EL
Power PC 32Bit
Power PC 64Bit
Power PC EMB 32Bit
SH4
SH4 EB
Sparc 32Bit
Sparc 64Bit
IBM PC 64 Bit
 

What is the solution then?
