vm-help would be more useful I think.

Probably tweakable via loader.conf, I'll check.

Then use ~/.cache/qemu-vm/images/freebsd-${hash}.img ?

Which will fill ~/.cache/qemu-vm/images with stale images over time,
which isn't great either ...

Or do you have something else in mind?
