[Qemu-devel] networking problem with qemu malta mips

I am using mips-malta kernels with QEMU-1.0.1 on ubuntu host(running on VMWare). Qemu guest can ping ubuntu host perfectly but it is unable to ping other machines. Using tcpdump i have noticed that ongoing traffic is working but in case of incoming, qemu does not allow to pass this from vmware machine to qemu guest.

Is there any issue with qemu or vmware or tap device?
