Hello,

it is not possible in the current version (5.4), and is not possible for many
previous versions, to shut down an OpenBSD guest using "virsh shutdown". The
guest freezes totally and must be destroyed afterwards.

The host is a 64bit debian-6 system running Qemu version:

QEMU PC emulator version 0.12.5 (qemu-kvm-0.12.5)

The ACPI event is handled correctly when the uniprocessor kernel is running, but
not when the MP kernel is running.

Is there a Qemu developer that would be willing to have a dialog with an OpenBSD
developer to try to understand, and possibly fix, this problem? If yes, please
get in touch with me.

I will be happy to help in establishing the connection.

cheers,

Rob Urban
