This can be spelled as:

return (len % (BUFFER_FIND_NONZERO_OFFSET_UNROLL_FACTOR
               * sizeof(VECTYPE)) == 0
       && ((uintptr_t) buf) % sizeof(VECTYPE) == 0);;

But I don't care too much.
