If you need i.MX31 support in QEMU then someone will need to pick up
those patches, rebase them onto the QOM model and fix any remaining
issues. You should coordinate that with the patch author (cc'ed). Adding
a feature page on the Wiki to track merge progress might also be a good
idea.

Now regarding i.MX23, you would need to find out what the difference to
i.MX31 is (e.g., ARM9 vs. ARM11, maybe same UART?) and, most likely, do
some coding of your own for anything i.MX23-specific.
