If an application running inside the guest OS issues an ‘rdtsc’ instruction, does the value returned comes from some kind of “Virtual Time Stamp Counter” or it is from the real time stamp counter of the host? If an application inside the guest requires values to be returned from the real time stamp counter of the host,
are there any code changes/settings which can allow this? (i.e. to disable virtual TSC and enable direct access to real TSC of the host)
