Heh, and it never occured to me that this just 'works as designed'.
Dereffing an invalid pointer, jumping to unmapped memory, and pretty
much everything else that give a catchable SIGSEGV or SIGBUS when done
natively, crash qemu-i386 hard with an unhandled sig11.
